Gaming Control Bill delivers local community a greater voice (TAS)

TASMANIA:  The Gaming Control Amendment (Community Interest) Bill 2016 has been passed unamended by the Tasmanian Legislative Council.  Provisions in this Bill require the Tasmanian Liquor and Gaming Commission to conduct public consultations to inform the consideration of community interest matters in their assessment of applications for gaming machine in venues.
