Gambling Research Australia has released a report on the Marketing of Sports Betting and Racing completed by ORC International in collaboration with Professor Nerillee Hing and Dr Sally Gainsbury of the Centre for Gambling Education and Research.  

The study aimed to explore the impacts of increased marketing activity associated with the expansion of the sports and race betting on gambling behaviour and intention among Australians, particularly on specific population subgroups: regular bettors, non-regular bettors, problem gamblers and adolescents.
