SOUTH AUSTRALIA:  A potential new form of gambling - on computer games commonly known as e-Sports - has been blocked by the State Government.  Consumer and Business Services Minister John Rau has directed the Independent Gambling Authority that it should not approve betting on computer game sporting events, irrespective of where the event occurs.  eSports is a term which refers to competitive single or multi-player video games, usually between professional players.
