This report contains the gambling component of the New Zealand Health and Lifestyle Survey 2012 (HLS).  The HLS is conducted every two years and aims to monitor the health behaviours and attitudes of New Zealand residents, including gambling participation and activities.

Specifically, the report determines the prevalance and frequency of gambling participation, the patterns of gambling behaviour, including an examination of those at risk of gambling problems, and a comparison of previous years results.
