Perspective: Disallowing Winnings as a Part of Self-Exclusion Agreements

Disallowing winnings from self-excluded gamblers in breach of the self-exclusion agreement is also known as "forfeiture" -  a practice that has been introduced in a number of jurisdictions over recent years.  

In 2013-14 the Responsible Gambling Council (Canada) undertook a review of the practice with a view to assessing its advisability as a component of self-exclusion programs.  This report summarises the outcomes of that review.
