The Stigma of Problem Gambling: Causes, Characteristics and Consequences

This report, commissioned by the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation and researched by Hing, Russell, Nuske and Gainsbury, explores the nature and cause of stigma associated with problem gambling in Victoria.  Specifically, the research sought to examine how stigma is perceived and experienced by different groups within the adult population, and how it may impact treatment and recovery from problem gambling.
