Third Social and Economic Impact Study of Gambling in Tasmania: Gambling Industry Trends and Impacts

This report, released by the Tasmanian Department of Treasury and Finance and authored by a research consortium comprised of ACIL Allen Consulting, The Social Research Centre and The Problem Gambling Research and Treatment Centre, is Volume One of Part A of the 2015 Social and Economic Impact Study of Gambling in Tasmania.  It provides an update on key trends in gaming in Tasmania and builds upon previous social and economic impact studies conducted in this jurisdiction in 2008 and 2011.  

Part B of the study, which considers the harm miniisation frameowrk that was developed and implemented by the Tasmanian Gaming Commission in response to the 2011 Tasmanian Economic Impact Study of Gambling is due for release later this year.
