In 2018 the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation (VRGF) surveyed Victorians about their attitudes and perceptions on gambling. Topics covered included thoughts on gambling harm and stigma, setting limits when gambling, and gambling and sport. The survey deliberately oversampled problem gamblers, as so few people in the population experience problem gambling. It also oversampled other at-risk groups. This allowed for comparative analysis. The insights from the survey are informing the work of the VRGF in addressing gambling harm.
