The House of Representatives Standing Committee on Social Policy and Legal Affairs has today launched an inquiry into online gambling and its impacts on people with gambling problems.
The inquiry will explore current legislation, consumer protections and support programs.

Cashless gaming trial to be conducted in New South Wales, Australia to combat money laundering
In NSW a cashless gaming trial will commence in August and will run for 12 weeks. The initiative was announced by Liquor & Gaming NSW in 2021, as an initiative to combat money laundering and reduce gambling harm.
